Additional fatigue management information is included. (Note: Customers interested in integrating reports into EmpCenter with Crystal Reports should take Writing Reports with EmpCenter (EC-01).

Audience: This course is intended for Fatigue Management customers interested in building reports or views of the data within EmpCenter Fatigue Management and EmpCenter Time and Attendance.

FM-07: Waivers and Fatigue Assessments

Course Description: An in-depth demonstration of how to create, delete and modify manual waivers, workflow waivers and fatigue assessments. Upon completion of this course, attendees will know all of the intricate differences between manual and workflow waivers, how to cancel a waiver, avoiding problematic mistakes, and resolving such mistakes.

Audience: Personnel who manage employees who are subject to compliance with NRC Rule 10 CFR Part 26 (Fitness for Duty) and are responsible for waiving deviating time for employees.  Personnel who are responsible for creating and approving waivers and fatigue assessments should take this course.

Audience: This course should be taken by personnel who manage employees (at any level) who are subject to compliance with NRC Rule 10 CFR Part 26 (Fitness for Duty).  It should be taken by personnel who are familiar with the NRC Rule 10 CFR Part 26 but who are unfamiliar with the Fatigue Management Common Solution.

Prerequisites: Basic knowledge and understanding of the fatigue rules or FM-05.

Course Description: An extensive look into the relationship between FM codes and the NRC compliance rules (as outlined in Addendum A).  Upon completing this course, attendees will have an in-depth knowledge of each FM Code, how each FM Code relates to the Fatigue Management rules, and the relationship between Time Codes and FM Codes.

Audience: Personnel who are subject to, or who manage employees who are subject to compliance with NRC Rule 10 CFR Part 26 (Fitness for Duty).  Personnel who are unfamiliar with FM codes as they relate to the NRC Rule 10 CFR Part 26 and the Fatigue Management Common Solution.

Prerequisites: Basic knowledge and understanding of the fatigue rules or FM-05.

Upon completion of this course, attendees will know how to use admin codes effectively and efficiently to override violations, conduct “what if” testing in future timesheets, and modify evaluation period data.

Audience: This course should be taken by personnel who are subject to or who manage employees who are subject to compliance with NRC Rule 10 CFR Part 26 (Fitness for Duty).  It should be taken by managers that are responsible for changing their employees’ timesheets to force different evaluate periods, override deviations, or create what-if scenarios.

Prerequisites: Basic knowledge and understanding of the fatigue rules or FM-05.

FM-12: Schedule Templates and Cycles

Course Description: A comprehensive lesson on schedule templates and cycles. Upon completion of this course, attendees will know how to create, modify and delete schedule templates, schedule cycles and schedule cycle meta data.  Attendees will also be introduced to common mistakes made when creating schedules and how to troubleshoot when problems arise with schedules.

Audience: This course should be taken by personnel who maintain, create or modify the schedule templates and cycles for your system.  It should be taken by schedulers who are responsible for creating the outage and online schedules for their group.

Course Description: This course will cover basic EmpCenter configuration topics that are applicable to FMCS implementations.  This course will enable attendees to understand how to make changes to their FMCS configuration to tailor the system to their organization’s usage while preserving the FMCS solutions.

Audience: This course should be taken by technical support personnel who are responsible for making changes that affect business rules and operation of their EmpCenter FMCS implementation.

Prerequisites: Attendees should have programming or macro language experience.
